Smack stuck to his guns this week as March Madness is defiantly in effect as URL released all fire battles this month . This might be they’re best weeks providing battle rap with superior content. B Dot vs Emerson Kennedy came out first from Traffic 3. It was fire as both West Coast Mc’s were incredible but what made this battle epic was B Dot third round where he put out some of his frustrations with URL in front of Smack. Ryda vs Prez Mafia from Survior Series dropped and it spotlighted two rising stars in this battle. Another PG battle from URL dropped as Reepah Rell went up against R Streetz in this crazy fight between two hungry mc’s. Dre Dennis vs Lexx Luthor released and it made headlines cause it may have a  haymaker of the year  as Dre Dennis tagged in a special guest and it sent the crowd in a frenzy. But the battle that had everybody talking about is a potential classic from Smack Vol 1 JC vs New Jerzy Twork . Both Mc’s displayed their tremendous talent in this clash of words. This sets the stage from Nj Twork upcoming battle against the well acclaimed veteran Aye Verb on Smack Vol 2. Ave vs Geechi Gotti was a very debatable battle as both mc’s came with their best in front of the Traffic 3 LA Crowd. Homzie the god vs Craig Lamar was also a good battle between two PGs of URL. Also Rebel vs J Morr, Yung Griz vs Profit and Snake Eyez vs Mack Mel all were released this month. Smack – March Madness have took the game by storm and made the case that URL is the NBA of battle rap. Let the Madness Begin
This week in battle rap has been absolutely crazy as we begin March Madness or as Smack says Smack Madness. Url starts the week of by releasing two battles from their Traffic 3 event. Glueasy vs Danny Myers dropped giving us a battle that was pretty good from two mc’s who had a week of prep time before theyre battle. Then DNA vs Rum Nitty came out to everybody surprise. This battle was flames and defiantly a must see between two of the best. Smack Vol 2 just announced another major battle that’s going be on the card. Mike p vs Young Kannon. This anticipated match has been talked about for a while as both mc’s have trash talked to each other for a while now. This should be interesting. Make sure yall go cop that ppv.
On a sad note Bender of KOTD fame passed away this week. He was defiantly loved thru out the culture. He will be missed. A Go fund me page was made to support his family so make sure you check that out and donate if you can. Much love. Math Hoffa also came to everybody reaching out for his brother who has Stage 4 cancer. He asked if everybody can help out his Go fund me page . Make sure yall check that out as well. Speaking of Math Hoffa the battle with him and Machete Trevy dropped this week as well.

Gates of the garden dropped two battles this week. C Low vs Prep came out featuring one of the league owners C Low going against Dre Dennis “Loud Ties” partner Prep. That should be interesting. Also Dre Dennis vs Nu Jerzy Twork came out this week. It was a short but entertaining sparring match.
Champion with Jayblac and Tech 9 sparked up some controversy this week as they dropped a blog called Do your Job – New rappers, as they debated whether the new class of battle rappers have what it takes to be stars. They really called out a lot of the newer talent for not being original which a lot of artists wanted to debate. The new guys like Mack Mel and Holmzie the God criticized champion for not covering their battles enough and not giving the new class enough credit. What do yall think? Does this New class have any stars? Murda Mook had a in depth interview on 15mofe about battling Tsu Surf and T Top. It was interesting .
Other battles that released this week were L Geechi vs J Murda , Switch vs G sharp , Henny Hardaway vs Cashmere . Syigu had a event that I went to called Torture Chamber 6. I got to interview a couple of the battle rappers and the event was lit. One of the battles was released from the event this week . Gambit vs B willz. Battle Rappers make music 2?
This week in battle rap has been an interesting one. Battlers released some music this week that stood out and impressed the masses. The Talent showed all across the board and there was some surprise announcements that had the culture buzzing this week.
URL had everybody going crazy over their new battle announcement for Smack Vol. 2, Rum Nitty going up against John John the Don. This match right here is going to be bananas. Make sure you order that PPV. URL also released a west coast card with a major one off. Th3 Saga is set to battle Emerson Kennedy at this event on March 3rd. They also came out with two great battles, Fettucine 20 vs Bangz and Raybop vs B- Trillz.
C Dot and Dre Dennis Teamed up to form a new League coming out of NJ called Gates of the Garden. They released two battles that should bring some big attention to the channel. Dot vs Gunna and Chef Trez vs Young Smurf. Both of these battles were crazy and I hope to see more from these fellas league. Salute.
Do or Die Battle league has a dope podcast that they do on they channel called Battle Rap Trap Podcast and they had Cave Gang’s own Ave on the show to talk about his stealing bars allegations, his classic battles and his new music coming out. It was a very good Interview. Speaking of Cave Gang music another member has been making waves with his music as well, Ryda released a video for his smooth song “Long Live the Pimpin”. Coming off his phenomenal performance last month at Survivor Series in DMV.
T-Top dropped a video for his banger “Gymnastics” this week but the song that has everybody talking came from Jersey’s own Jai 400 Block with a disstrack that pretty much went in on everybody from the goonies, NWX and Cave Gang. He sent shots at everyone but especially at Jimz as he revisited the RBE situation with Goodz. It was crazy. I think this will make people respond or even want to battle Jai. We will see.
