This Week In Battle Rap

Let’s Eat… These Battles Are Cooking..

Hey everybody it’s your boy Mill$ here with the battles to watch for this week. There was some real good matches that came this week. There was some surprise battles that defiantly surpass expectations which is a good thing. Mc’s stepping their game up, Crafting bars that are captivating audiences. Superb Performances took shape this week, making it a very good couple of days for the culture.
The first battle was a 2 on 2 between Marv Won and Quest Mccody vs Carter Deems and Chedda Cheese on Blackout 7 a KOTD Event. In the first Round Marv and Quest came out with a lot of jokes, trying to match the wit of their opponents but bars didn’t land with the crowd. Carter and Cheese stuck to the game plan and even with a couple stumbles I gave them the first and third rounds. Marv and Quest looked a little confused on how they wanted to approach this battle. Clever Lines and wordplay was evident in this battle. It will defiantly make you laugh if nothing else.
The second battle I watched was a one rounder on RBE. C Low vs Steve Staples was a lyrical grudge match. Both Mc’s showed that they can hang with any of the RBE roster. C Low a NJ Gas Gang representative is on my radar as a up and coming Battle Rapper. This Kid has talent as showcased here as I had him edging the battle.
Speaking of Jersey Mc’s, Dre Dennis been on a battle rap tour, with an assault on the game with battle after battle. He has defiantly picked up his work load. Three Battles from the Jersey Star came out this week and an announcement that he is joining the U Dubb Network. One battle I watched was his Trap NY Battle with OT Seven. THIS WAS A BODYBAG. Dre Dennis Killed his opponent with continuous Seven Name Flips. He showed that he is a problem and one to watch this year as one of the best.
Two battles that were entertaining from new names in the game was Fis the Beast vs Ghost (Powerhouse battle league) and Twayne vs Kash Oanly . In the Fis vs Ghost battle both Mc’s was going in but Fis the Beast really went hard and impressed me. In Twayne vs Kash, Twayne tore his adversary up with some Gut Wrenching Punch Lines and Hard Schemes. Both Battles kept me entertained.
The Battle of the week to me was between two Ladies on the rise, Torture and Looney Barz. These women were not playing in this battle. Dope Lines and cadence stood tall in this battle. It would’ve been a classic if Looney Barz didn’t stumble in her last round. Nevertheless these two will defiantly be in the mix. This Battle was fire… check it out on BattleBox on FB and at the end of this post. Salute to the Culture and I’ll talk to yall next week.. EASY
